The weekend of May 30th to June 3rd I rode my trusty stead (aka Pig) to Jacksonville, NC. I went to spoil my granddaughter--I know, terrible grandpa--but she's so cute! Anyway, I had always wanted to go down the coast and decided this would be the trip. |

The one and only, the original... THE K-MOD! Who needs to spend serious $$$ on a cruise control when for about 43 cents, you can make one for yourself. BTW, this mod is released t the public domain under the free beer license. If you use it, next time you see me buy me a beer. Beers must be cold and previously un-consumed. Just drill and tap a hole for a 1/4x20-3/4" nylon screw in the throttle housing. Tighten the screw and the grip stays put. You can still twist the throttle and it will stay put in the new location. The advantage of using a nylon screw is that the throttle cable won't be damaged.
