It has been a while since I had the time to work on the panel saw.  The holidays and some emergency weekend projects fouled up my schedule.  The first thing I did when I got back to work was route a slot for the t-track, mount the remaining cross support and paint it.  I tried to get close to Milwaukee red since I'll be using a Milwaukee circular saw.

Panel Saw: Part 1

I hate cutting sheets of plywood. I get tired of clamping a straight edge to the sheets and then rigging something to catch the cutoffs.  I know I'm not alone or there wouldn't be a market for verticle panel saws or sliding table attachments. My shop is too small for a big sliding table and I don't cut plywood that often to justify it.

I looked at the various commercially available panel saws and thought the $$$ was too much for my blood.  So... I decided to make a panel saw.  After searching the web for a while, I decided the plans and kit offered by Rockler was the best.
